A trip to the East Coast began in DC then moved north to NYC and a planned rendezvous with Brendan and Connor. Paid our respects at Ground Zero. Then back to DC to rest before a trip to the Outer Banks and our Buxton Adventure. Hit the Hatteras and Bodie Island Lighthouse'.
A spectacular thunder storm rolled in from the sound and covered the island on our last night in port. Of course we thought no sunset .... then boom an opening and crazy colors.
Finishing up at the National Arboretum and some well trained bonsai exhibits!
