With a new, expensive coach hired, the Cougars were looking for a comeback season. Well as fate would have it they suffered thru a dismal 2012 season til it came to the Apple Cup. This game seems to bring its own energy, especially when played at Martin Field.
After scoring on their opening possession on a nice drive fumbleitis set in and we were down at the half. The third quarter didn't look much better but in the final 15 the Cougs came alive, went for a two point conversion and found themselves trailing by a field goal. Which they got to send the game into overtime. An interception and brilliant run back saw the Cougs with a chance to take this one and that's exactly what they did. 31-28 in OT for another Cougar Victory!
