A quick trip to Walla Walla, not for wine but for Hot Air Balloons. The 41st annual Walla Walla Balloon Stampede. Arrived for the Friday evening Night Glo comprising 9 balloons in a choreographed inflation and burn. We were in a great location til one of the rigs pulled in and obstructed our fine view. Had to make lemonade from that one, lol.
Saturday mornings ascension was a set start time but not a competition. Whenever your up you go so there were multiple balloons taking off at the same time. Eventually 31 balloons launched and dispersed to the wind.
