This year's Big Island trip acutally started in Phoenix. Hung out around Pebble Creek and enjoyed the situation a lot, then off to Kona for 28 days.
Warm enjoyable island time daze. Lots of sunsets, rain squalls lizards and locals and dolphins. BBq'd marlin and ono and opah and ahi, along with a steak or 2. Then a trip to the windward side and a few days with friends around Pahoa and Sea View.
Never really made it to Hilo but rode horses on the Kohala plains drove the Beach Road towards Kalapana and the old mango groves and canopy covered paths to the beaches. Walked lava tubes and flow fields and waterfalls, all from the Oriental House in Hawaiian Paradise Park.
