Some RnR on the Big Island of Hawaii. We hunkered down to fight the battle with paradise near the Black Sand beach at Punalu'u. And it wasn't even skirmish, paradise won!
We snorkeled from Kialua-Kona to Hilo and kayak'd with the Spinners in Kealakakua Bay. Photoed the reef at Cap't Cook's monument. Took in a volcano a rainforest and waterfalls.
We watched the turtles at Punalu'u and visited a Buddist Temple out of Pahala. Gilligan enjoyed Gingers navigating on his quest for kona koffee, we put over 1300 miles on our rig. The company was great, the meals 5 * and paradise was perfect!
